R. J. Corman Railroad Company, LLC Appoints Donnie Stilwell as Vice President of Operations South
R. J. Corman Railroad Company, LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Donnie Stilwell as Vice President of Operations South. Stilwell, who brings an extensive and varied background into this role, will report to Ray Goss, President of R. J. Corman Railroad Company. Mr. Stilwell will direct the development and implementation of transportation plans and safety initiatives across the company’s Southern Region. He will also utilize his comprehensive experience to provide critical leadership as he executes its strategic vision and focuses on operational safety and first-class service to R. J. Corman Railroad Company customers.
With over 27 years of experience in the railroad industry, Stilwell has held a variety of positions that uniquely qualify him for this role. He has specialized in process management and has held many leadership positions at BNSF Railway, where he worked on six of ten divisions covering merchandise, coal, grain, chemical, and intermodal business units, including service design. His experience from the ground up allows him to have a unique perspective on car movement from shipper, ground crew, billing, cost management, and delivery.
Most recently, Stilwell served as AVP – Merchandise Service Design / Bulk Ops Service Design at BNSF Railway in Fort Worth, TX, where he maximized service plans for merchandise in all hump and flat switching yards on the entire BNSF network. He also held positions such as General Director of Intermodal Continuous Improvement, General Manager of the California Division, and General Director of Transportation of the Chicago Division, among others.
