Danny Puckett joined R. J. Corman in 2014 as a Division Manager for Switching and moved up quickly through various Switching leadership roles to Assistant Vice President of Safety & Training. Danny oversees employee safety training, engineer certification processes, incident reporting, and development/implementation of safety tools, resources, and continuing education. He has over 25 years of railroad experience including 10 years as a locomotive engineer and 16 years of supervisory experience including the positions of Road Foreman, Trainmaster, Line of Road Trainmaster, Division Manager, Assistant General Manager and General Manager of Switching Operations. He is also certified as a locomotive operator and designated supervisor of locomotive operators as well as certified in remote control operations and as a remote control instructor.
