Kentucky Railroad Association Hosts Event with Legislators and Policymakers

On February 29th, the Kentucky Railroad Association hosted a reception in Kentucky's state capital, Frankfort, bringing together state legislators and policymakers. The event was held in dining rail cars staged in downtown Frankfort on tracks of the R. J. Corman Railroad Company’s Central Kentucky Lines.

The Kentucky Railroad Association is comprised of four railroads operating in the state: R. J. Corman Railroad Group, CSX, Norfolk Southern, and P&L.

The event aimed to foster dialogue and collaboration between Kentucky industry leaders and state government officials on key issues affecting the state's rail infrastructure and services.

Corman Railroad Group is excited to advocate and work with policymakers alongside the Kentucky Railroad Association to ensure that our state's rail and transportation infrastructure remains efficient, reliable, and competitive. Transportation infrastructure is a crucial part of our state and nation's economy, promoting job creation and supporting rural communities.
