Congressman Andy Barr Visits R. J. Corman Railroad Group Headquarters in Nicholasville

Congressman Andy Barr, accompanied by R. J. Corman officials, and Nicholasville Shops team members.


On Wednesday, 27, Congressman Andy Barr, U.S. representative for Kentucky's 6th congressional district, visited the R. J. Corman Railroad Group headquarters in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Accompanied by District Director Tatum Dale, Field Representative Stephen Marks, and hosted by R. J. Corman Railroad Group President and CEO Ed Quinn, and R. J. Corman Railroad Group Director - Government Affairs William Downey, Congressman Barr received a comprehensive tour of the company’s headquarters. 

The group also toured several of R. J. Corman's operations, including the Nicholasville Shops complex, led by R. J. Corman Railroad Services VP of Operations Nick Edelen. The agenda included an overview of the complex itself and an in-depth look at its operations.

They followed the tour with visits to employees at the Mudge Building and a tour of the R. J. Corman Signaling Wiring Shop. These visits offered Congressman Barr the opportunity to engage directly with employees and gain a firsthand understanding of their roles within the organization.
