Gene, a graduate of the University of Kentucky's business school with an MBA from Louisiana State University Shreveport, is a key player at R. J. Corman Railroad Company. His expertise in economics and finance fuels his role as Commercial Finance & Marketing Manager, overseeing pricing, contract analysis, and profitability across the company's 19 railroads.

Gene is a skilled bridge-builder. He fosters collaboration across various departments, from Business Development to Revenue Accounting, ensuring everyone is on the same page. This collaborative spirit extends beyond R. J. Corman. Gene actively works with industry partners like Wabtec to leverage innovative software solutions.

One of Gene's most significant contributions has been spearheading the implementation of Wabtec's software suite (RailConnect, TMS, RMS). These tools have streamlined operations, reduced errors, and boosted productivity for both internal and external stakeholders. He's also championed the transition from Wabtec's TMS system to RMS and the M-Crew system, which automates data collection, all aimed at delivering a flawless customer experience.
